Know what is planned on your street before it is too late
A neighbouring building project can only be challenged within a short period that starts with its official publication. With the Neighbour plan, Publicus watches your address or parcel and writes to you as soon as it appears.
In short
- Neighbour plan: CHF 12/year (CHF 1/month), one address or parcel, one canton included, daily email digest.
- In Geneva every building permit application is published in the FAO and opens a 30-day comment period (art. 3 LCI).
- You are alerted when your address or parcel number appears in a publication: permit, tree felling, sale, municipal decision.
- To receive everything in your canton, add the "Building permits" thematic alert (CHF 5/month).
Why watch your own address?
Most residents discover a neighbouring project when the building profiles or the site appear, although the period to submit comments started at publication. In Geneva that period is 30 days from publication of the application in the FAO.
What the Neighbour plan flags
- Building permit applications and decisions mentioning your address or parcel.
- Tree-felling authorisations and municipal decisions citing your street.
- Property transactions involving your parcel (in Geneva, art. 157 LaCC).
- Any other official publication in which your address or parcel number appears.
How it works
- Choose your canton and enter your address or parcel number.
- Publicus reads every new publication in the cantonal gazette.
- You receive a daily email digest with a link to the official publication.
