## Overview
Publicus is a Swiss legal-watch service that monitors the official cantonal gazettes (Feuilles d'Avis Officielles / Amtsblätter / Fogli ufficiali) and sends real-time email alerts when a tracked name, company, address, or keyword appears in a publication. Built for lawyers, fiduciaries, journalists, compliance teams, and concerned individuals who need to know — within hours, not weeks — when an entity they care about is named in a Swiss official publication. Operated by Candice Sàrl, Geneva, Switzerland.

Publicus is NOT the legal source of record. The legally binding publications remain the cantonal portals (fao.ge.ch, amtsblattportal.ch, etc.). Publicus is a monitoring layer on top of those portals — every alert links back to the official source.

- Genève: Feuille d'Avis Officielle de la République et canton de Genève (fao.ge.ch)
- All other cantons: SECO Amtsblattportal API (amtsblattportal.ch) — official federal aggregator
- Coverage today: GE, ZH, BE, BS, BL, VS, TI, ZG, SO, SH, SZ, NW, OW, AR (14 cantons)

## How alerts work
1. Define keywords (names, CHE numbers, addresses, free text) in your account
2. Publicus extracts entities from each daily publication using a custom pipeline (Candice extractor + Hermes anti-hallucination verifier)
3. When a match is found, you receive an email alert within minutes of publication going live
4. Daily digest available as an alternative to real-time alerts

- Micro: 10 CHF/month — 5 keywords on the 5 essential types (person, company, public authority, address, parcel), 1 primary canton included
- Starter: 25 CHF/month — 25 keywords on the same 5 types, 1 primary canton included, 7-day free trial
- Enterprise: contact sales — unlimited keywords, CRM connectors (Salesforce, HubSpot, Outlook, Bexio, WinJur, Kleos…), CSV import, dedicated onboarding & SLA
- Thematic Alerts: 25 CHF/month per category — 8 independent products (tree felling, vehicle pound, business permit, building permit, fines, communes, sales, bankruptcy & debt, judicial)
- Additional cantons: 5 CHF/month each (add-on, billed via Paddle)
- All plans: real-time email alerts, link to official source, GDPR/nLPD-compliant
