# Consult bankruptcy notices in Geneva

_Consult bankruptcy notices in Geneva · Updated 2026-10-27_

Find Geneva bankruptcy notices, read calls to creditors and follow a file using official sources, rather than a claimed real-time bankruptcy list.

## In short

- FAO and SOGC are official sources; SOGC publication governs DEBA deadlines (art. 35).
- Opening notices, suspension for lack of assets and schedules of claims require different actions.
- This is not an updated list of bankrupt people or companies.

## Find a Geneva notice

Consult fao.ge.ch and the SOGC at shab.ch. Check exact name, UID and file reference; verify the office and location to distinguish namesakes and representatives.

## Read the notice before filing a claim

Art. 232 DEBA provides one month for claims after publication of the opening. For suspension for lack of assets, art. 230 provides ten days to request liquidation and supply the required security. Do not reuse a deadline from a different notice type.

Follow the official instructions, evidence requirements and contact details. Publicus does not file claims for you.

## Follow a file or a whole category

A keyword plan can follow a person or company. Neighbour is limited to an address or parcel and is not suitable for tracking a debtor by name.

Bankruptcy and debt enforcement costs CHF 5/month and covers subscribed cantons with a configured perimeter. All categories are included in Cabinet.

## Check the source and your rights

The official notice prevails. No alert does not prove there is no bankruptcy. This guide is not legal advice.

## Frequently asked questions
